Abstract: Migration is typically viewed as an economic phenomenon, although non-economic factors also have some influence. Worker migration is generally defined as a cross–border movement for employment and a better quality of life in a foreign country. However, there are no universally accepted definitions of worker migration. Adolescence is a crucial time in the human development process, marking the transitional period between childhood and adulthood. The study of migration holds significant importance for the development and reconstruction of rural areas in India. People move from rural areas to urban areas because the living conditions are better in urban areas. In rural areas, they face numerous challenges, including poverty, high population density, a shortage of healthcare facilities, and inadequate educational opportunities. In this study, we examine the life satisfaction of migrated adolescent workers in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The researcher must understand the socioeconomic profile and employment patterns of the migrated teenage workers, and also analyse the attitudes of these workers regarding their habits, expenditures, and life satisfaction. In this study, statistical tools such as Analysis of Variance and Multiple Regression Analysis have been used. The researcher found that the results indicate a significant influence of demographic factors on the life satisfaction levels of migrant adolescent workers. Additionally, the overall effort was made to analyse the relationship between demographic characteristics and life satisfaction among adolescent workers in Chennai city, Tamil Nadu.

Abstract: This essay focuses on Rabindranath Tagore’s depiction of feminism and the dichotomy portrayed in Bimala, which is unique in “The Home and the World” compared to other female characters in Indian literature. It denotes how Tagore sought to establish universal humanity to understand society and culture, and to build a woman in the era of the Swadeshi movement. This chapter explores the complex psychological aspects of the protagonist, Bimala, within the political viciousness of the Nationalist Movement, yet unfolds her journey to emerge as a new modern woman, retreating to her conjugal life with Nikhil, as she grapples with her emotions and her illusory love, disguised as Sandip.

Abstract: This article draws on a research study conducted among domiciled youth in Himachal Pradesh. The objective of the study was to understand the social aspirations of youth in the state and their plans for contributing to society. A mixed-method approach was used to fulfil the objectives of this study. The respondents selected for the study were youth between 20 and 25 years of age who were enrolled in professional courses at various higher education institutions in Himachal Pradesh. The respondents were selected using a multistage non-probability purposive sampling technique. Primary data was gathered using a structured interview schedule from 280 respondents and Focused Group Discussions. The study found that the respondents were eager to serve society after being employed. The major areas in which they wished to contribute after settling down in life were the welfare of youth with problems, education, and the welfare of Gaumata (cows of the local breed). The study also found that, although a majority of respondents were keen to become community leaders, very few showed interest in participating in electoral politics.

Abstract: Women of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 significantly contributed to the military power of the Jacobite army. Their participation with the legal system reveals essential information about women’s place before the law in eighteenth-century Britain. Women of the period were able and willing to engage in Jacobite intrigue with a reduced degree of danger from capital punishment, which made them essential to the Jacobite movement by allowing them to assist with escape attempts, military recruitment, and espionage without the same danger from judicial repercussions that their male counterparts faced. They proved to be a significant force for the Jacobite political movement, and the hopes of the Stuart claimants would not have lasted as long without the considerable support received from the female demographic in eighteenth-century Britain.

Abstract: This paper changes the status quo beliefs about masturbation by modern-day science by showing us the downside of our short-term thinking, by highlighting the present state of affairs in this world over the widespread use of masturbation. It also shows that if we continue what we are doing now, then the day won’t be far when the entire planet is destroyed by the unending fire of human lust that will burn everything in its path. The tremendous human civilisation will end soon. The paper also shows us how to reverse this impending catastrophe and re-usher in the happiness state of life on this blue planet.

Abstract: The article concerns the works of literature published by the Polish poet Wanda Dynowska (1888-1971). The sacred theme, which is ubiquitous in her works, will be analysed and interpreted. As a writer, translator, social activist, and promoter of Indian, Polish, and Tibetan cultures, Dynowska was an extraordinary woman. She does not belong to the group of the most outstanding Polish poets, such as Wisława Szymborska, Czesław Miłosz, or Zbigniew Herbert; yet, her poetry is unique due to the subject matter that is hardly found in Polish literature and the empirical sources of her work. Moreover, Dynowska arrived in India in 1935. The experience of living in Hindu culture had a tremendous impact on her poems. Therefore, her poems and essays were published thanks to Dynowska’s infatuation with Hindu culture, the writings of Krishnamurti and the spiritualism of Hinduism and Buddhism. The following works, including Mahayana Buddhism, On the subject of nature and art, and Hindu poems, were published thanks to the enterprise funded by Wanda Dynowska and Maurycy Frydman. Indeed, they owed it to a Polish-Indian Library that was located in Madras. Surprisingly, only a few scholars, such as Kazimierz Tokarski, Izabela Trzcińska, and Ewa Dębicka-Borek, scrutinised Dynowska’s poetry at that time. In this article, the poem titled Where Are You?, My path, Shiva’s Night, Near and far are interpreted. Furthermore, the philosophy proclaimed by Mircea Eliade, Gerardus van der Leeuw and Rudolf Otto is intertwined with a novel analysis of the poems. In addition, Polish sacrologists such as Stefan Sawicki and Zofia Zarębianka had a significant impact on interpreting Dynowska’s poetry. Consequently, the interpretation of Wanda Dynowska’s works reveals that the sacred is based on respect for followers of each religion, combining Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu influences.
