Old Age Homes: Vital in Promoting Well-being and Goodwill of Senior Citizens

Abstract: The individuals, belonging to all communities, do not feel pleasurable and contented in some cases, living with their elderly family members. They consider them as liabilities. They hold the viewpoint that these individuals will interfere in their lives; hence, they send them to nursing homes. It is unfortunate that when family members do not get along, senior citizens often end up in nursing homes. Within these homes, various amenities and facilities are available, which enhance the overall living conditions for individuals. Individuals who are employed are required to be well-versed in their job duties and responsibilities. Furthermore, they are required to be well-equipped in terms of various methodologies and procedures, which facilitate success in their tasks and activities. The primary objective of all nursing homes is to promote the well-being of senior citizens. Individuals in old age are often overwhelmed by various health problems and illnesses; therefore, there are provisions for medical and healthcare facilities as well. Furthermore, they are experiencing the psychological issues of anger, stress, anxiety, frustration and depression. For this purpose, they are required to obtain counselling and guidance services. These facilitate the promotion of a typical mindset and effective coping with various types of psychological problems. Therefore, nursing homes are crucial in promoting the well-being and overall quality of life of senior citizens. The primary concepts examined in this research paper are the understanding of nursing homes, the factors that influence the living conditions of individuals in these facilities, and the experiences of senior citizens in nursing homes.

Home Care Facilities for Senior Citizens: Essential in Promoting Enrichment of Living Conditions

Abstract: The main objective of this research paper is to acquire an efficient understanding of home care facilities for senior citizens. In old age, individuals are often overwhelmed by various health problems and illnesses. Furthermore, they are experiencing different types of psychological issues of anger, stress, anxiety, frustration and depression due to multiple factors. Hence, they require assistance and support from individuals to promote their physical and psychological well-being. Senior citizens are required to be well-informed about various methods, techniques, approaches, and procedures that enhance overall living conditions. Furthermore, they seek support and assistance from others to ensure they are well-informed about positive ways. Individuals in old age are required to maintain a typical mindset. They need to communicate and effectively deal with others. Furthermore, the development of traits such as morality, ethics, diligence, and conscientiousness will facilitate the adequate performance of one’s job duties and the achievement of desired outcomes. Therefore, home care facilities for senior citizens are essential in promoting enrichment of living conditions. The primary concepts examined in this research paper are the understanding of the meaning and significance of home care facilities for senior citizens, measures to be implemented for upgrading these facilities, and the advantages of home care facilities for senior citizens.

“Religious Practice Assessment: An In-Depth Analysis”

Abstract: To interpret the religious freedom provisions, the Supreme Court of India created the Doctrine of Essential Religious Practises, or “ERP.” In its techniques and tactics, the ERP doctrine fosters gender discrimination, making it a dysfunctional legal dynamic that is contributing to a process of de-secularization, according to the report. A different normative approach is also proposed in the study. A model that achieves constitutional morality may be the one recommended by the author to be used in the interpretive endeavour. The model will examine the constitutional meaning to situate the harmonious vision that the judiciary has failed to accomplish in its repeated attempts to resolve disputes of a religious nature. The issue in the context of gender will become clearer through the doctrinal study of recent decisions, viewed through the theoretical lens of constitutional principles. This essay examines the Supreme Court’s Doctrine of Essential Religious Practices and Religious Freedom clauses as a means of interpreting the reach, bounds, and potential for differentiating between religious and secular beliefs. It also demonstrates how these analyses are not focused on advancing the cause of gender justice. The Triple Talaq case, despite its honourable conclusion, will be examined to highlight the detrimental effects of the ERP philosophy

Unveiling the Familiar: Exploring Makoto Shinkai’s Anime Art

Abstract: In the past few years, film theory has experienced incredible growth and transformation. In modern film theory, the analysis of the relationship that films have with their recipients is a key area of research. This study examines the aesthetics of Makoto Shinkai’s anime and how it realistically depicts the outside world. Additionally, it will compare and contrast their investigations of this realism in his art style with selections from Shinkai’s corpus of films. Harnessing the principles embedded in the concept of mimesis developed by Walter Benjamin, this paper uses a recipient-centred approach to cinema narrative. This study is significantly central to the art style rather than its structure by observing the characteristics of animation drawings and audiovisual in the anime. The paper provides an insight into the connection between man and man-made, which unveils the familiarity we have with nature—justifying the hypothesis by employing the literary theory of Mimesis. It investigates the art style of Shinkai’s animation that works as a special force to realize this connection. It will enable one to recognize the significance of his works in serving as a model that consciously or unconsciously influences the recipients to take note of and appreciate the mundane sights and moments of life around them.

Kama Sutra, a Pandora’s Box of Evils?

Abstract: This paper demonstrates that the Kama Sutra, the oldest surviving literature on sex, love, and relationships, has a flawed core concept that is neither holistic, moral, nor uplifting, nor balanced and harmonious with human nature. It has some positives in speaking about the truth. Still, it is patchy as most of the verses talk about satisfying a human desire with a “just do it” philosophy rather than controlling your lust to seek pleasure, but not at the cost of sacrificing your values. When this Pandora’s box is opened, it will do more harm than good to society, as the fundamental foundation is weak and verses speak from ignorance of real knowledge.

Gender Mainstreaming in Climate Policy: Empowering Women and Reducing Gender Disparities in Post-Disaster Scenarios

Abstract: Gender mainstreaming involves integrating a gender perspective into various actions, policies, legislations, or initiatives to address the concerns of all individuals and prevent the perpetuation of gender inequalities through institutional channels. Despite its global implementation, gender mainstreaming has not consistently resulted in progress for women; often, it is linked to a scaling back of policies and programs specifically targeting women. Recent research highlights the gendered impacts of climate change, yet efforts to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies have largely neglected gender mainstreaming. Additionally, the predominant scientific and technological focus in institutional responses has overshadowed social outcomes, leading to insufficient attention to vulnerable groups, particularly women. This paper argues for the imperative of gender mainstreaming in climate policy and advocates for policies that are explicitly centred on women’s empowerment. The essence of gender mainstreaming is crucial not only for ensuring the comprehensiveness of climate policies and programs but also for the development of women-focused policies, ensuring that women receive the necessary support and empowerment to take proactive measures on their behalf.

Abstract: This article is based on field research that describes a naming system, specifically Wayan, Made, Nyoman, and Ketut, as Balinese ethnic identities. Data analysis involves an interaction cycle comprising various activities: data collection, data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verifying them. The research objective is to describe the meaning of the naming system and its evolution over time. The results of the study show that this naming system is not only a manifestation of Balinese ethnic identity but also holds social, cultural, psychological, and religious-magical meanings for the owner of the name. This meaning prompts the Balinese to recognise the life cycle ritual of giving a name, specifically nelubulanin. This ritual is a requirement for parents in Bali.

Secularism in India: Exploring its Reality, the 42nd Amendment, and its Relation to Article 370 of the Constitution

Abstract: This in-depth study shows how the 42nd Constitutional Amendment and the repeal of Article 370 changed India’s secularism. It examines how secularism has evolved in India’s constitution over time and its impact on social peace and religious equality. The paper examines the various ways in which the 42nd Amendment has contributed to India’s increased openness, while also addressing concerns and disputes surrounding its implementation. It discusses Indian secularism, religious rights, and the separation of church and state. The paper then examines the temporary aspects of Article 370 and the political events that led to its removal. It explores the relationship between religion and freedom in Jammu and Kashmir. The study also compares atheism models from around the world, with a focus on how policy should adapt to different situations. Examining how communalism, identity politics, and social and economic inequality critically threaten India’s democracy (Elgin et al., [8]). The study continues to examine how reforms, education, and secularism influence India’s evolving culture.

Pedagogical Practices in the Technology Intervened Indian Education System

Abstract: Globally, the advent of technology has caused significant changes to the education system, and India is not an exception. The incorporation of technology into education has created new opportunities for teaching and learning, as well as the chance to improve pedagogical practices. This paper aims to investigate the pedagogical practices in the Indian education environment influenced by technology. The study is conducted by conducting a systematic literature review of research articles published in various journals and conference proceedings over the past decade. The review focuses on pedagogical practices in technology-enhanced education in India, including multimedia resources, collaborative learning, gamification, and personalised learning. Additionally, the paper addresses the obstacles and constraints educators face when implementing these practices and proposes potential solutions to overcome them. According to the study, incorporating technology into education can enhance the quality of teaching and learning in India. Nevertheless, it is essential to implement pedagogical practices that are applicable and effective in the Indian context. The paper recommends that educators receive the necessary training and resources to implement these practices effectively. The study concludes that technology-enhanced education has enormous potential to transform the education system in India and create more equitable and accessible learning opportunities for all students.
